| | | The Mercedes-Benz
Club of America has grown rapidly since 1956 and currently has over 26,000 members
in 90 local sections across the United States, Canada, and many foreign outposts.
Each section conducts its own activities, publishes a newsletter of information
and events, and has its own officers and by-laws. Sections frequently organize
joint activites with neighboring sections. | | National
Business Office | | | In
1985, the functions of MBCA were significantly enhanced by construction of a new
club-owned building in Colorado Springs which now serves as the national headquarters.
The national business office staff provides a vital and personalized link between
club members and the club. Members are encouraged to stop by the national business
office for tours or friendly Mercedes conversation! The business office is open
Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. MST. Call the National Business
Office at (800) 637-2360 for more information or e-mail any of the staff. |
| | | Regional
Organization | | | The
club is apportioned into regions, each administered by a regional director who
is responsible for assisting and inspiring the sections in the region. The regional
director also fosters the formation of new sections, co-ordinates regional activites
and represents the constituents as a member of the national board of directors |
| Board of Directors |
| | The national board
of directors is comprised of eight directors at large who are elected by the total
membership. In addition to the regional directors who are elected by members of
the region, the national officers are elected from the directors at large by an
annual vote of the board of directors. All directors volunteer their efforts and
expertise to the Mercedes-Benz Club of America without pay | |
